Shawn Sutta

Shawn Sutta is a lifelong musician, producer, and composer with deep roots in Miami’s music scene. As the new Director of Miami Voice Collective, he brings a wealth of experience in artist development, live music direction, and audio engineering.

Shawn’s musical journey began at age 7 on the piano. By 11, he had joined his first band and began learning audio engineering and production under the mentorship of two-time Grammy-winning engineer Richard Aspinwall—a relationship that continues to this day. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Jazz Piano and Studio Music from the University of Miami.

While in college, Shawn toured internationally as a cruise ship show band pianist and played extensively with local bands across South Florida. After graduating in 2009, he became the Music Director at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church in 2010, a role he continues to hold today.

In 2011, Shawn co-founded Audiocastle Studios with longtime creative partner Adam Robl. Since then, they’ve produced music for hundreds of commercial campaigns, including work for Fortune 500 brands across the globe. Their music has helped define major advertising projects with a focus on emotional impact and cinematic polish.

In parallel, Audiocastle has been a powerhouse in the independent music scene. They’ve collaborated with a wide range of artists, most notably Keith Johns, whose third album—produced by Shawn and Adam—generated over 1 million streams on Spotify.

Shawn’s film scoring work spans dozens of short films and 15 feature-length films, many of which premiered at Sundance, Tribeca, and SXSW, and have reached audiences in theaters and on major streaming platforms. Soundtracks from these projects have been released by Lakeshore Records and Sony Records.

Today, Shawn remains deeply active in film composition, artist development, and live music direction. He is currently building one of Miami’s finest boutique recording studios—a creative home for the next generation of artists and storytellers.
